(English) Lately we have seen the French actress Maïwenn in the guest list of the lasts runways of Channel and some time ago they announced that she would be in the next add campaign for Chanel’s bag. I’m very glad they chose to get far away from the typical French girl with porcelain white skin and blond hair. Maiwenn has instead a very exotic beauty mixed with the elegance of the Parisian woman. The grand father or the actress was Algerian and I think that she got form him this “exotic look”. So exotic- elegance can be a good mix for Chanel.
(Spanish) Desde hace algunos desfiles de la marca Chanel hemos visto a la actriz Maiwenn como invitada, y hace poco tiempo dieron la noticia que será ella la nueva cara para la campaña publicitaria del bolsos Chanel. En lo personal me alegra mucho que se alejen de la típica cara de muñeca francesa, de tez blanca de porcelana y cabellos rubios. Maïwenn al contrario tiene una belleza muy exótica mezclada con la elegancia de las mujeres parisinas. El abuelo de esta actriz es de Argelia así que creo que de allí heredó ese look “exótico” tan propio de ella. Exotismo y elegancia pueden ser una muy buena combinación para Chanel.
