Jour et Nuit Culture

Meet the new generation of Parisian Artist this weekend 19-22 Mars!

What we love:

Jour et Nuit it’s a cultural organization from the city hall of Paris. The main activity is to give artist space to work and expose. This weekend (20th-22nd Mars 2015) there is a“Door Open Days” activity to go meet the artists and they work. It’s a good opportunity to go met these new generations of artist and even invest in some art before they get uber-famous and out of reach ;)
Then there is also an art exhibition until 29th Mars if you want to see they work or  invest in a art piece.

I found out this place because the famous contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami where in this place two weeks ago to buy some art.  That’s speak so well of the level of the artist there.  I’ll advice you to check out the work of Zoer CSX Velvet CSX  from France and Erick Gonzalez from Guatemala.  I’m in love of their work!

They have many different activities each month so you have to check out the website frequently to see what courses, vernissage, activities or exposition they have in this moment.

Discover art, architecture and a great view of Paris

If you love contemporary art, architecture and great views of Paris, you can't go wrong with a visit to this highly rated museum.

What we love:

The Foundation Louis Vuitton has a really good collection of contemporary art.  The building was designed by the “starchitect” Frank Gehry.
The views of Paris from the top of the building are really good.

I’m an architect so I had to see this place.  If you are in to modern – contemporary architecture and art you will enjoy this place.  I also saw a lot of photograph playing with the different angles of the building, the light and shadows and the amazing views of the forest and Paris. It's like a playground for amazing shots.

Ten Belles

Indulge in glorious coffee and cake at a cozy coffee bar

What we love:

We love the smell of coffee and cake! Each time I pass in front of 10 Belles the smell of coffee puts a big smile in my face.  The first time I went to this coffee shop, I was surprised about the beautiful presentation of my latte "The latte art". I was also surprised about the quality of the coffee (like Guatemalan coffee).  They also sell scones, cookies, banana breads and muffins.  The coffee and cakes are delicious.
